Responsibility is literally our ability to respond.

Strong connections to humanity and the natural world are an inbuilt part of our hearts at birth. We have an innate desire to act responsibly, with compassion and intelligence in any situation we face.

Keeping those heart-centred values alive are crucial to response-ability, but responsibility also requires a strong awareness of our world and how it works. Personal engagement with the natural world, and awareness of the principles that apply to all of life, empower us to respond creatively rather than just react emotionally to the social and environmental issues that face us.
